Language Paper 2
Non-Fiction
This course covers the second English Language exam on non-fiction. In this exam students need to understand how to read critically whilst analysing newspapers, letters, autobiographies, articles etc. They need to be able to analyse how writers use language, form and tone to express their point of view.
The written task in this exam involves writing persuasively for a piece of non-fiction (like a newspaper article or a letter). All of these skills are explained and demonstrated in this course by looking at past papers and going through how to approach each question to ensure the assessment objectives are met.
