  • Each separate course runs for 5-7 weeks (depending on term time)
  • They run weekly
  • The cost is £38 per week
  • Commitment to entire course is essential
  • Homework is set and individual feedback is given
  • Some courses combine video and classroom work, whilst others are entirely classroom/zoom based

EXPECTATIONS

  • Literature texts must be read before starting the course
  • Where video content is used, these must be watched, notes taken and brought to each session
  • Completing tasks is a crucial element to the process as it develops students' essay writing skills. These tasks must be completed

VIDEO COURSES

  • Courses can be bought as a stand alone product
  • Video courses cover all of the main themes and characters (as exam questions are on this)
  • They also demonstrate how to analyse language, structure and form (as this is where the main marks are awarded)
  • It is possible to book a one-off private session with Ruth on completion of a video course
